Paul Smith furniture is a small company based near Brighton, East Sussex that specialises in making both traditional antique reproduction furniture and contemporary custom made furniture. Throughout the manufacturing process we use modern materials and methods, yet the skills of the traditional Sussex craftsman are still to be found in many areas of furniture production. This extends from the careful selection of veneers and veneer preparation, through to the skills of the cabinet maker and polisher.

We are a father and son team (Ian & Paul Smith), between us we have more than 50 years experience in the handmade furniture industry and have worked hard to build up a reputation for quality and reliability. Our business has been developed on the basis of 'giving the customer what they want', so whilst there is a standard range of hand made antique reproduction furniture, all items can be modified to suit the customer’s exact requirements. We also take great pride in making bespoke furniture, individual pieces, which are completely tailored to our client’s specifications. These have included pieces such as coffee tables, bookcases and wardrobes, right through to custom built kitchens, bedrooms and studies. Customers range from individuals & retailers to hotels, restaurants and universities. Based near Brighton in East Sussex we supply locally, nationally and internationally. It is very rarely that we cannot meet the customer’s requirements.
